About this guide
White Temple Chiang Rai Guide is an independent travel guide. We are not the official website of Wat Rong Khun, and we are not connected to the temple, the artist Chalermchai Kositpipat, the Tourism Authority of Thailand or any tour operator.
What we do
We write practical pages about visiting the White Temple respectfully: what it costs, what to wear, what you're looking at and how to get there. We link to trips you can book so you can go straight from reading to booking.
Practical details such as entrance fees, opening hours and dress rules were last checked in September 2026.
How we choose tours
The "Check price & dates" buttons link to tour listings on GetYourGuide. We're a GetYourGuide affiliate partner: if you book through these links, we earn a commission at no extra cost to you.
We list tours because they fit the page they're on: a clear starting point, a sensible itinerary, and enough time at the White Temple. The descriptions on this site are our own. For exact inclusions, times and prices, always read the listing itself.
